Good little eaters

Tonight made me chuckle as i watched all three of my little boys eat their dinners like champs. It has not always been like that at the Weston table. Everett was terrible horrible eater, and it has been proven by his 0 percentile for weight and like 10th percentile for height. But we have come leaps and bounds from where we used to be. There were some dark times as we tried to force feed Everett to no avail. He absolutely did not think he needed to eat- We tried everything people. We had to add powdered milk to his whole milk- we cut everything into shapes, we finally got him tested for all sorts of blood count crap and everything, but he just would not eat. Dr. Marsden in St. George offered us the first bit of advise that we hadn't heard before- we put Everett on heartburn medicine. We are not sure if it is coincidence or if he just decided to eat better all of a sudden, but it went uphill from there. He was like 2.
Bentley was a better eater, but i quit nursing him at 6 months for a few reasons, but one of which- he just didn't want to stop what he was doing to nurse. He now is willing and has tried things like Sushi, Artichokes, sauces that kids shouldn't like- and basically he will try anything.
In the picture of Sawyer below- he is eating pureed broccoli with blueberry yogurt and rice cereal all together. He eats solids so well. We did have a bit of a nursing strike going on for a while, but as i have been nursing him in my dark quiet room consistently, things are better in the nursing dept. {I still can't wait to ween him though- I'm not gunna lie} But he is a WAY better eater, and we can actually sit down at dinnertime- complete with a prayer and not be ready for WW3!
{"white steak" (pork) must always be dipped in steak sauce!}
{That's right. He is actually leaning toward his food!}

Kash will NOT eat! You would never know because he is HUGE but it is a struggle to get him to eat solids. He gags on everything and will throw up so easily. I'm glad you now have 3 good eaters!
