Twenty Eight

So warren came home this weekend and after a mechanical problem, a delayed flight- and a night in a Denver hotel, -our already short weekend became a 28 hour weekend. We tried to make the best of it, so here are 28 highlights of our last 28 hours...

1-Took the Boys to Wheeler Farm for the Headstart Fall Festival

2-Got a dozen new books and a couple cheesy carnival prizes

3-Got a new deck on our apartment patio

4-Ate a Jimmy Johns Turkey Tom- {won't mention that i found a hair in it though}

5-Rented an apartment

6-Got Warren some new contacts

7-Ate Cafe Rio- same as always- Pork Burrito, Pork Salad, and a quesadilla for the boys

8-Boys had a bath with their dad- they think it's so cool

9-Slept 5 to a bed

10-Filled the car with gas as we were on "0 miles left"

11-Bought the boys their Halloween Costumes- Knight gear

12-Already put their new swords in time-out

13-Got rained on with a short lived sprinkle storm

14-Washed ice cream off the drivers side car window

15-Tried Bentley's old cow costume on Sawyer- probably won't fit in it when Halloween comes around

16-Got invited to my sister in law's endowment session Tuesday

17-Everett wasn't feeling well and threw up 

18-Benny asked "Is daddy is alive?" before we went to pick him up

19-Chatted with Kemp's over our boys' chaos 

20-Pulled out a lacey black unmentionable

{I know i am going to make Warren blush reading this- but it was one of my highlights anyway}

21-Watched a little of Harry Potter and a little of A Little Princess

22-Pulled up next to a Hispanic with his window down and Benny yelled "Hey mom!!! I hear the Circus!!!"

23-Boys skipped their naps

24-Fed Sawyer peaches, to which he thoroughly enjoyed

25-Gave Warren a back scratch

26-Broke the sabbath with a diet coke and a sprite from McDonald's

27-Ate peaches and milk as a late night snack

28-Cried more than the usual at the airport parting
