So we have been home from Disneyland for a week and you all are razzing me that i haven't posted any pics yet- okay. I'm sorry :) Here are some highlights...
*It rained and rained and rained. Ponchos, wet feet, and NO LINES!!
*If you go to Disneyland on your birthday you get free admission- or if you have already bought a 3 day park hopper pass you get a gift card of $59 to spend on souvenirs {no food} Everett got to pick out a sword and a gun- and he is so sweet- he didn't want to leave Benny out, so he got him one of each too- We also got them this cute art print from the museum that depicts Peter Pan and the kids flying over London- it is so darling, we saw it last year, but finally splurged on it- and of course we got Benny a print of the original Haunted Mansion poster-He loves looking at it- especially since that ride was CLOSED!!!!! Luckily we knew ahead of time, and we were able to prep him-
*We rode Indiana Jones twice in 20 mins. Probably a record.
*Benny got to ride the Matterhorn for the first time, and it is his new favorite ride
*Everett got to ride 3 new ones {he was pretty much forced into it, but we knew he would love them afterward, and he did} Soaring over California, Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain Railroad.
*It's a small world reopened the day that we were there~ It is soooo cute- you have to check it out!
*My mom and i rode California Screamin at the worst possible 3 mins of hard core rain that we had the entire time we were there. We were laughing hysterically- It was like being shot at with tiny icicles - we couldn't' even see the ride- we had to close our eyes and the one second i opened them, i got a freaking huge splat on my contact, and almost lost it~
*My mom also rode the rocket ride in California Adventure park- I love that she is down for ANY ride!
*Warren , my mom and i all got to ride the Tower of Terror for the first time- My right thigh still has Warrens' hand grip embossed into my skin :) lol.
*We got "preferred seating for the Aladdin show- 3rd row- it was sweet.
*The hugely expensive Character Breakfast was totally worth it. It was darling, and Captain Hook probably spent 20 mins with just the two of them alone- It is so worth it to be able to see all the characters within that hour or so {it's all you can eat} then try to wait in random lines throughout the day to catch a pic with them for just a second. {we DID wait to see Tinkerbell though- 35 mins, and Warren was beside himself the entire time. We waited longer to meet her than we did for any ride the whole 3 days} ANYWAYS-
*The new Toy Story 3D ride is awesome- you shoot at 3D items- kind of like at the fair-type games- really fun
*We spent Everett's birthday dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney- Benny and Sawyer slept through dinner, so it was kind of neat for Everett to have his dinner time with mom and dad and grandma and papa all to himself.
*Both parks have a baby care center with private rooms to nurse and change and whatever else- It was SO nice to have, and i give them big props- especially when it was raining and i was able to retreat there a few times-

The last day we didn't fly out till the evening so we spent the day at the Aquarium of the Pacific- It was awesome! I was so impressed- Sharks, eels, skuba divers, rays, jelly fish- We spent 4 hours there- that means a lot when you have boys with short attention spans- They liked the Puffins the best because at their eye level they were able to see the birds half above the water and half below- for some reason it was totally fascinating to them-

Looks like you had so much fun!!
So fun! I'm always jealous of Disneyland Trips. And I love Warren's face with Tinkerbell...I think he's in love!
I have been dying to see them. It looks like you guys had so much fun... even in the rain. I am glad we postponed our trip. I can't wait to go. I am looking forward to that almost as much as the wedding :) Ha ha ha! Can't wait to see you.
Oh my gosh, ALL of those pictures are adorable. What great memories! I love the picture of Sawyer biting mini mouse on the nose. Priceless!
O that sounds like so much fun. That is sad that the weather wasn't as good but glad the lines were down.
My kids are freaking out right now!!! They are so into toy story! Also if you saw my last post, Kenton loves captain hook! We are making the trek to Disney land when Darren gets home from Afghanistan. I can't wait!!!!
OOhhh that looks like so much fun. I can't wait to take the boys one day. Of course, we'll probably go to Disneyworld b/c it will be closer for us. Rain is good if it means no lines. What a great memory though right?!
Fun fun! Jill would have freaked to meet Tinker Bell!
