I played with the boys today. Pirate Playmobil. For 2 hours. Something that I don't do enough of- well actually-- rarely do. I never wanted to just be the supervisor with my kids, but actually play with them. Interact. It's so much harder to do than said. I have a list of things I want to get done, and sitting down to give 2 hours away is selfless. I'm not good at being selfless. But now they know that mom builds awesome pirate scenes. oops. Probably going to have to give them more time now. Too bad I didn't get a good picture before a giant monsoon came and swept all the pirates off their island forcing them to retreat to their ships until further notice.
