Oklahoma State Fair Aka the best fair ever.

Warren and I were so impressed with the Oklahoma State Fair. It was amazingly better than the Utah State fair! So first of all, it was so much cleaner. They had really really nice buildings and bathrooms. They had waterfalls and statues and museum type monuments. They had as many rides as Lagoon. Seriously. If we were riders- it would have been awesome! And we're talkin HUGE rides like the Samurai and the Rocket. They also had plenty of seating areas. It seems like at the Utah fair you have to barter and beg for a seat to eat. Not only were the rides and food bigger and better, so was the entertainment! We HAD to take a picture of this lady selling "German Roasters" Look closely at her-- ha ha ha !

GRANDDOGS and GRANDCATS???? Seriously people????
ha ha ha ha
They had an awesome man made jeep trail that they actually let you drive around in {If anything were to happen you signed a contract that Toyota would take care of the car and you would take care of yourself} and the best part? It was free! We didn't wait in the freaking long line though, but it would have been cool.

And then the grand prize winner goes to the booth with the dog being spayed right there in front of everyone with cameras magnifying the surgery. What? We couldn't believe it!

We also went to lunch at Toby Keith's restaurant. Best Chicken Caesar Salad Ever! They put homemade cornbread croutons on the salad. mmmm. We also tried Black-Eyed-Peas for the first time ever. My dad suggested that we try the OK State Fair and Black-Eyed-Peas- so i guess here's to Dad. Did you know that Black-Eyed-Peas are NOT PEAS? They are beans. Go figure.

What a fun thing for you and Warren to do. I bet it was nice to be down to only one kid for the weekend too!

In Minnesota, the fairs all sell Fried Cheese Curds. I am not brave enough to try them. I don't want to have a coronary.
